It’s Fat Tuesday and KK TV will be heading downtown to the “Gaslamp District”  for some serious holiday celebrating along with some 40,000 other attendees.

Trattoria La Strada will be the first stop. They are located at 702 5th Avenue between 5th and G Street. What better way to start off the evening with some $4 Mardi Gras Fruit Punch and Fat Tuesday Shots? If you end up at La Strada be sure to ask for Kansas or Alena at the bar and tell them KK sent you for a free cocktail.

I think the next stop will be Stingaree where there will be a Jazz and R&B band playing. We’ve got to warm up somewhere! After that I think we’ll be taking it to the streets where there will be some pretty insane dj’s spinning.

Besides the festivities in all the bars and clubs, there will also be a 9:30 pm Masquerade Parade. How cool is that?
